Registered office: Rushfield, Giggers Green Road, Aldington, Ashford, Kent, TN25 7BT.

VAT number: 896593646.

2. About These Terms
By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order will be those in force when your order is placed.

3. Using Our Website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious software, or interfere with its operation or with another person's use of the website.

We take reasonable care to ensure that information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, occasional errors may occur and information, availability and prices may be changed where necessary.

We cannot guarantee that the website will always be available or uninterrupted and may suspend or withdraw access where reasonably necessary.

4. Products and Product Descriptions
We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. As many of our products use natural materials, including British wool, there may be natural variations in colour, texture, size and appearance. These variations are part of the character of natural products and are not necessarily defects.

Product images are for illustrative purposes and colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device.

All products are subject to availability.

5. Prices and VAT
Prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and will be clearly displayed before you complete your order.

We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

If we discover an obvious pricing error after an order has been placed, we will contact you before proceeding with the order.

6. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the products in accordance with these terms.

Please check your order and your delivery and contact details carefully before submitting it. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, email address and contact telephone number.

After you place an order, you will receive an electronic acknowledgement or confirmation. We reserve the right not to accept an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, there has been an obvious pricing or product-description error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.

7. Payment
Payment is made through the payment methods and secure payment facilities made available during checkout.

You must be authorised to use the payment method provided.

8. Delivery
We will deliver your order to the address supplied when the order is placed. Please ensure that the address is complete and accurate and provide any relevant delivery instructions.

Any estimated delivery times shown on our website or provided to you are estimates unless we expressly agree a specific delivery date with you.

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, we will deliver goods without undue delay and normally within 30 days of the contract being made.

If an order cannot be delivered because the address supplied by you is incorrect or incomplete, we may charge reasonable additional delivery costs where a further delivery is required.

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you, or to a person identified by you to receive them, subject to applicable consumer law.

9. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you will normally have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly tell us that you wish to cancel within the applicable cancellation period. You can contact us by email, telephone or in writing using the contact details above.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you must normally return the goods to us within 14 days.

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel, including goods made to your specification or clearly personalised and other products where an applicable legal exception applies. We will make this clear where relevant.

Digital PDF Patterns
Our downloadable PDF knitting patterns are supplied as digital content. By choosing to receive and access your PDF pattern immediately after purchase, you expressly consent to the digital content being supplied during the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that, once the download or access to the digital content begins, you will lose your statutory right to cancel the purchase.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty, not as described or does not function as it should.

10. Returns and Refunds
If you cancel an order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the amount due to you in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed, or we have agreed otherwise, you are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind cancellation.

You should take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession. We may make a deduction from a refund where permitted by law if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Where applicable, refunds will be made using the original method of payment.

11. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If goods arrive damaged, are faulty, or are not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can help.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described, or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

12. Natural and Handmade Products
Some Romney Marsh Wools products are handmade or made using natural materials. Minor variations between individual products may therefore occur. Measurements and weights may also vary slightly where products are handmade or use natural materials.

Nothing in this section affects your rights where a product is faulty or materially different from its description.

13. Our Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.

We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or business interruption, where the products were purchased wholly or mainly for personal use.

Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or restrict rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including its text, photographs, graphics, branding, logos and other material, is owned by or licensed to Romney Marsh Wools Limited unless otherwise stated.

You may view, download or print material for your own personal and non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, commercially exploit or distribute our website content without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.

15. Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience and information only. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

16. Privacy and Cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information about our use of cookies and similar technologies is provided in our Cookie Policy.

Please refer to those policies for further information about how we collect, use and protect personal information and how you can manage cookie preferences.

17. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the matter promptly.

You can write to Romney Marsh Wools Limited, Rushfield, Giggers Green Road, Aldington, Ashford, Kent, TN25 7BT, email info@romneymarshwools.co.uk, or telephone 01233 721800.

18. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these terms where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to our website, products, business practices or applicable law. Any revised terms will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applying to an order already accepted unless required by law.

19. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law.

If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms is intended to restrict any rights you may have regarding where proceedings may be brought.
