Description

Put British wool to work in your garden. Our wool pellets offer a practical way to use natural sheep’s wool around plants, where it can help hold moisture in the soil and gradually break down.

Sprinkle the pellets around the base of a plant and water lightly. As they absorb water, they expand; gently tease them apart to create a wool mat over the soil. This textured barrier may discourage slugs and snails, while also acting as a mulch. As the wool biodegrades, it releases nutrients gradually into the soil.

Use the pellets around established plants or blend them into potting mixes. They come in a recyclable bag and label.

HOW TO USE

  1. Sprinkle pellets evenly around the base of the plant, covering the surrounding soil.
  2. Water lightly and allow the pellets to expand.
  3. Gently tease the damp wool apart with your fingers or a small hand fork to form a mat.
  4. Top up as the wool breaks down.
