I simply love sheep and this book is pure joy. A little while ago I completed many squares of knitting from British native sheep and only wish I had had this book showing how each wool looked knitted up. They are so well produced that they really look as though they are real. The knitting projects are clear, concise and look lovely. There is not enough space in this review to explain how very comprehensive this book is. Do buy it and come face to face with all the fleecy faces!

This is both a beautiful and useful book. Stunning photography & really useful information detailing the differing characteristics of wool from each breed of British sheep. The patterns are gorgeous & there is a handy sourcing guide of where to buy. Not only that, it is a really interesting read on the history of British sheep.
