Description

Our Natural British Romney Chunky Yarn is made using carefully selected fleeces from our own flock of Romney sheep, raised on our family farm on the Romney Marsh.

Romney fleece has a naturally semi-lustrous appearance, long staple and gentle crimp. These characteristics create a strong, warm and characterful yarn with excellent stitch definition.

Its chunky weight makes it satisfying and quick to work with, whether you are an experienced maker or completing one of your first projects. Use it to create warm jumpers, cardigans, hats, scarves, cowls, gloves, blankets, cushions and other knitted or crocheted pieces.

The yarn retains the naturally creamy colour of the fleece and is neither dyed nor bleached, allowing the individual character of the wool to remain visible.

Choose a 50g ball for smaller projects, colourwork and finishing touches, or a 100g ball for larger garments, accessories and homeware.
