Received my Merino/Romney fleece recently. I have washed it but not yet spun it. It is so thick it took a lot of drying (dripping -after extensive squeezing- outside for two days; drying inside for two days). It cleaned very easily and, as an experienced spinner, I think it will spin well.

Merino x Romney Raw Fleece
The cross between these two breeds of sheep produces a fleece with a slighty longer staple than that of pure Merino, making it super easy to spin.
The fleece maintains a micron of approximatley 22 to 25 micron.
Ideal for spinning and felting.
This raw fleece will need washing.

I am in the process of sorting the Romney cross Merino locks ready for washing. It feels beautifully soft & the locks are long & well crimped. I think this fleece will spin into gorgeous yarn & it become my favourite.
A beautiful fleece in shades of deep cream to white, and so soft! It has been well skirted, and there is little VM. I am so looking forward to spinning it. Thank you also for the quick delivery.
