Acid dyes are designed for protein fibres such as wool. The term describes the dyeing process and the type of dye used; it does not mean that the finished wool contains corrosive acid.
Is this the same as your naturally dyed Wool Colour Box?
No. This box contains Romney wool that has been coloured using acid dyes and includes nine colours weighing 90g in total. The naturally dyed box contains eight naturally dyed colours weighing 80g in total.
Is this knitting wool?
No. This is prepared, unspun wool fibre rather than finished knitting yarn. It can be used directly for felting and embellishment or spun into yarn.
How much of each colour will I receive?
The box contains 90g of wool across nine colours. As the fibre is dyed and packed by hand, the amount of each individual colour may vary slightly.
Will the colours be exactly the same as the photographs?
