Take your project from raw fleece to finished yarn with Fern, a whole Romney fleece from our own British flock.
Romney wool is especially valued by hand spinners for its long staple, natural crimp and characterful lustre. The longer fibres are generally straightforward to prepare and provide the opportunity to create a wide range of handspun yarns.
Fern has been hand-skirted to remove some of the less desirable and heavily soiled outer sections. It remains a completely raw agricultural fibre and has not been washed, scoured, carded, combed, dyed or bleached.
