Easily and by far the loveliest fleece I have ever worked with - and I'm choosy! It's superb, clean, hardly any VM and beautifully shorn I got my first fleece, Clover from Romney Marsh last year and was smitten, this one is even better So far I've been cleaning and dying and processing her fleece on my new drum carder. I have several gorgeous batts already and can't wait to start spinning. This exceptional whole Romney Fleece has won Reserve Champion fleece at Kent County Show 2026.
With an amazing crimped and long staple and a lustrous white/cream colour it will be perfect for spinning.
It perfectly demonstrates all the wonderful qualities of Romney fleece and we are sure will be a joy to work with.
This fleece has been hand skirted and is unwashed so will need preparing before working with it.
