Date: 02/06/2013

Location:

Elham     Our Market   The Farmers’ Market in the picturesque village of Elham will be held as a special Food Festival & Market event twice a year: Christmas and Summer. This year ourSummer Market will be held 2nd June. The market offers a selection of locally produced fruit and vegetables (some organic), eggs, cheese, fresh meat (organic), game, bread, cakes and pies, honey, jams, pickles, and wine. This selection varies according to season and availability. The Farmers' Market is a not-for profit organisation run by a committee of volunteers representing different organisations in Elham. The Elham community is directly involved through the Friends Association, while Elham Gardeners have one stall where they sell their own fruit and veg, cut flowers, herbs, jams and more, all produced in the village. The Food Festival is held in the Village Square at Christmas and on The Triangle (Village Green) in Summer. After the market, make sure to visit one of our friendly pubs for some refreshments, or enjoy a walk through this historic village with its many listed buildings.
