The farmers’ Market at Sissinghurst Castle will be held on the 'Plain', at the very heart of the ancient farm, and directly outside the entrance to the world famous National Trust gardens. Surrounded by the Elizabethan and Victorian buildings, visitors to the market can also enjoy the Granary Restaurant, Gift Shop, Garden Shop and 450 acres of farm and woodland.
Markets will be held on fom May 10h to 25th October the market will be held on every other Friday every month, between 10.30 and 3.30pm (see below).
We have a good range of stalls consisting of cheese, organic meat, bread, fruit and vegetables, handmade chocolates, wool, preserves, apple juice and beer, with seasonal additions such as cherries and asparagus. Our very own tenant Farmer is often able to provide meat raised on the farm, and the organic vegetable garden supplies surplus produce, which can also be enjoyed in the restaurant.
