Having been shortlisted in this year's Rural Business Awards, last week we attended the awards ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge where Romney Marsh Wools was awarded runner up for the Best Rural Creative, Artisan or Crafts Business in a very tough category alongside some amazing fellow rural businesses.
Now in their 5th year, the Rural Business Awards is the only UK-wide programme dedicated to showcasing the success of rural businesses. It is independently run by Jemma Clifford & Anna Price, in partnership with Amazon.
Kristina Boulden, owner & co-founder of Romney Marsh Wools commented, "We are delighted to have been recognised by the Rural Business Awards and to be awarded runner up in a category shared with some of the South East's best creative businesses is a real achievement. Our business was born through a desire to raise the profile of wool and all its natural benefits, and so to reach the regional finals for such a well regarded and rural focussed awards is a great feeling."
